This project focused on retrofitting an existing building to meet modern energy efficiency, safety, and sustainability standards. Upgrades included high-performance insulation in walls, roofs, and floors, as well as double-glazed windows to reduce heat loss and improve thermal comfort. All gaps and cracks were sealed to enhance energy efficiency. The heating system was updated with a new boiler, radiators, and smart thermostats. FSC-certified wood was used for structural modifications, and the basement was waterproofed with tanking systems and cavity drain membranes. The retrofitting significantly improved energy efficiency, reduced operating costs, and increased the property's value, making it more attractive to buyers and tenants.
